About Culwell Sandblasting

Culwell Abrasive Inc. is family owned and operated since our founding in 1984 as Custom Sandblasting.   What began as a part-time job in high school in 1976 apprenticing with his father and uncle at Culwell Brothers Painting Inc., soon turned into a full-blown business venture for Mike Culwell, owner and founder.

Having trained in the big oil fields of California sandblasting and coating tanks, Mike soon turned his attention to other commercial, residential and custom sandblasting projects as he began to build his resume as a specialty sandblasting contractor.

We are very good at what we do not only because of our many years experience in the sandblasting industry, but also because we take pride in our workmanship, customer satisfaction and doing a job well done.   High standards and an eye for detail, yet still able to complete our work in a efficient and timely manner ensures lasting relationships with well-known contractors, small businesses and homeowners alike throughout Southern California.
